VBS Flags (Accessories)

Flags are an essential component of the Vacation Bible School Worship Rally. As symbols of faith and national identity, these must be treated with utmost respect. Never wash a dirty or worn-out flag. If the colors are faded, it is time to replace your flag with a new one; the old flag must be burned or buried.

Displaying the Philippine Flag

• The Philippine flag must stand to the left side of the viewer at all times.

• If displayed on a flag pole, the blue field must be on top (reversing the order means war).

• If displayed vertically, the sun and stars must be on top and the blue field on the left.

Displaying the Christian Flag

• The Christian flag should be placed either at floor level, on the right side of the altar or pulpit facing the congregation.

• When displayed with the Philippine flag, it should be on the same level, to the right of the Philippine flag, and dips only to the cross at the altar.
